The university has an effective educational and scientific infrastructure that meets the requirements. Equipping the faculty with modern equipment and improving the material and technical base (repair of buildings and premises) is carried out by the university regularly.

The faculty is equipped with educational materials necessary for the entire educational process for the preparation of educational programs. The faculty has 9 computer classes, 16 modern interactive whiteboards, 2 special classrooms and 2 electronic training halls, a forensic laboratory where students of the faculty conduct practical classes. In the forensic laboratory, students with the help of special technical means acquire skills in using methods of search, registration and obtaining traces and physical materials; to use tactical techniques in the production of individual investigative actions; to master the methodology of distinguishing crimes by different ways of committing them; is able to determine the circumstances contributing to the commission of a crime, investigate crimes, plan and implement measures to prevent and prevent crimes.

"Courtroom": the faculty has created a specialized "Courtroom" for students studying in the direction of "Law". The "Courtroom" has all the possibilities for conducting trials in civil, administrative and criminal cases in a realistic, practical environment. As a result of joint cooperation, visiting court sessions of the Zhambyl regional and Taraz city courts are held in the specified courtroom.

 Specialized offices "Mini-Bank" and 1C:Accounting: The faculty includes a specialized production center "Mini-bank" for students studying economics, and special classrooms equipped with the program "1C:Accounting". In these classrooms, students are provided with all opportunities to fully familiarize themselves with the main work of banking and the circumstances of the accounting sphere. As a result of joint cooperation, agreements were concluded with second-tier banks and enterprises of Zhambyl region and Taraz city.

For students studying law, there is an office "Normative legal acts", equipped with a database "Law". The search database "Law" allows students to learn how to find simple ways to use common regulatory legal acts using various definitions.

According to the results of the Republican Competition of the Research Institute for the 2023-2024 academic year, Vasily Nasyrova, a 3rd-year student of the Department of Tourism and Service, OP 6B11111 - Tourism Business, and Merey Omirali, a 4th-year student of the Department of Tourism, specialty OP 6B11111 - Tourism Business, took 3rd place.

The faculty has 7 student scientific circles: "Manager", "Civilist", "Accountant financier", "Zheti jargy, "Adilet", "Service", "Business analyst". The main purpose of the student scientific circle

is to reveal the possibilities of students and schoolchildren in research work. It involves the participation of students in scientific and theoretical research, participation in scientific and practical conferences of various levels and the publication of articles in publications. In this regard, student scientific circles hold mini-conferences, round tables, scientific seminars, discussion competitions among school students and college students of Zhambyl region and Taraz city.

The "Youth resource center" of the Department of Internal Policy of the Akimat of Taraz conducted a selection round among students, undergraduates, doctoral students and young teachers aged 18 to 35 years for the competition "Tauelsizdik urpaktary" in the nomination "Business". The educational and methodological bureau operates as a separate structure that controls the organization and quality of educational methodological work of the faculty. The plan of educational and methodological work of the faculty is carried out within the framework of approved activities. The educational and methodological work of the Faculty of «Economics and Law»  is carried out in accordance with the mandatory requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for higher educational institutions.

At the departments of the faculty, guidelines have been developed for writing course, diploma and master's theses. In order to coordinate the educational and methodological work of the departments, methodical seminars are held.

In addition, the scientific and methodological bureau of the faculty discusses issues of methodological support of the educational process in the disciplines of departments, the provision of distance learning processes with educational and methodological complexes.

The educational and methodological bureau of the faculty considers issues related to textbooks, teaching aids, monographs and electronic resources, the level of provision of the educational process with modern educational and scientific literature, working curricula (programs), planning of educational and methodological complexes.

The teaching staff of the faculty organizes educational and methodological activities in accordance with the requirements of the higher education system, and its scientific and pedagogical potential allows it to train bachelors and masters.

The learning process and its quality are controlled in the form of joint participation of teachers in open classes. From year to year, new modern pedagogical technologies and teaching methods are being introduced into the educational process. The professors and teachers of the department widely use methods such as round tables, small groups, and discussions. The department conducts systematic work in the field of enhancing the cognitive activity of students with the introduction of new technologies and electronic textbooks and new teaching methods. All textbooks for the specialty are developed in Kazakh and Russian languages, and for multilingual groups - in English.

Tasks of educational work:

1. to promote the formation of a citizen and a patriot capable of living in a new democratic society; the formation of a political, legal and anti-corruption culture of the individual; the growth of legal awareness of children and youth, their readiness to resist manifestations of cruelty and violence among children and youth.
