Corruption in the university undermines the foundations of the educational process and triggers harmful changes that extend beyond the institution into the professional and social environment.
The mission of the Compliance Service is to prevent corruption and violations, foster a culture of honesty and fairness, protect the reputation of the university, and create conditions for a safe, transparent, and fair educational environment.
Our goal:
The purpose of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service is to ensure that the University and its employees comply with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on combating corruption, to implement anti-corruption standards and the international standard ISO 37001:2025, as well as to monitor the implementation of anti-corruption measures and prevent corruption practices.
Objectives:
- Effective implementation of measures to combat corruption within the institution.
- Ensuring the conduct of internal analysis of corruption risks in the institution.
- Ensuring compliance with external regulatory requirements and best international practices in anti-corruption activities.
- Introducing tools for prevention and early detection of corruption-related offenses by the institution.
- Ensuring adherence to the fundamental principles of combating corruption in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Fostering an anti-corruption culture within the institution (intolerance and negative attitude toward corrupt practices).
- Providing consultative support to employees and students of the institution on anti-corruption issues, and receiving reports of corrupt practices via the hotline or in person.
